Review of TheraICE Rx Cold Therapy Migraine Headache Relief Cap

Whew, what a moniker! It's actually even longer than that. The full product name is the TheraICE Rx Form Fitting Gel Ice Headache / Migraine Relief Hat, Cold Therapy Migraine Relief Cap / Migraine Ice Head Wrap Ice Pack Mask, Cold Compress Headache Relief Cap for Tension, Sinus & Stress, and it is available for purchase here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B095FL7724?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details (This is not an affiliate link)

This cap is well designed. It is thin and stays soft and flexible straight out of the freezer. It blocks light out entirely. The gel does not 'slosh' or bunch up and molds to the shape of my head. The cap stays in place during sleep. The material is very stretchy, but fits my average-sized head snugly, so if you are male or have a large head, this product may be uncomfortably snug or may not fit you. While the ear panels do not contain gel so as to avoid cold ears, the fabric does still get very cold. It does warm up fairly quickly after removing from the freezer. I appreciate that there is no velcro to rip when experiencing noise sensitivity. My one complaint is that the gel actually gets TOO cold for me in the freezer, but I worry that it might absorb odors if kept in the fridge. I like that it comes in a pair so when one is no longer cold enough, the other is ready to go. Overall, this is a product I use fairly regularly and does what it's made to do. If you are a migraineur or live with another headache disorder and are helped by cold and dark, I can recommend this product. Do you have a migraine head wrap you love?
